The pipeline trail, otherwise known as Peña Blanca (white rock) is one of the most popular short trail in the Boquete area. This short trail follows a small water pipe used to bring water to the small indigenous community that lives near the trail head. The waterfall at the end cascades over a large section of light (almost white) rocks from which it gets its name.
This is a great trail for those not up to the physical challenge of many other trails around Boquete. A great trail for birdwatching especially for catching a glimpse of the elusive Resplendent Quetzal.
Make sure to bring good hiking shoes and a light coat as temperatures above Boquete can get cool.
