The Lost Waterfalls Trail is one of the most beautiful trails in the Boquete area. The trail is located on a small nature reserve bordering Volcán Barú National Park. It starts in a small manicured clearing but then continues up and into the cloud forest. The trail follows a canyon cut through by the Quebrada la Mina, a small tributary of the Rio Caldera. Two of the waterfalls cascade into beautiful pools where hikers can swim.Bring good hiking shoes, water and clothes to get muddy in, the trail has some slick muddy sections. Bring a swimming suit and towel if you think you might want to swim.
