This is a "best of Cerro Punta" type tour. Cerro Punta is a small community above the town of Volcán on the western flanks of Volcán Barú. The tour begins with a short hike on one of the trails in Parque International La Amistad (PILA). Friendship International Park is only the second of its kind, a park that crosses the border and is shared by two countries, in this case Panama and Costa Rica. It has more diversity than any other park of its size and is home to over 220 different species of bird, all five different species of big cat found in panama, tapirs, agouti, and more.Afterwards the tour heads to Finca Dracula, an orchid farm which hosts the largest collection of orchids in the world including all seven species of the rare Dracula Orchid.
Make sure to bring good hiking shoes, a light coat (temperatures can be cool in Cerro Punta) and Water.
